Terms of Service

By accessing, creating an account, or using Kognilo, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form an agreement between you and Kognilo.

Kognilo is a personalized learning platform that turns goals into diagnoses, learning paths, units, practice, mastery evidence, reviews, a personal notebook, and a competency map. Some features use artificial intelligence and web research to generate grounded content; the open final assessment and reports are educational resources, not certifications.

• You must provide truthful information and keep your data up to date.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account and must protect access to the login provider you use.
• Notify us immediately by email if you suspect unauthorized access.
• The service is intended for people who can accept these terms. Use by a minor depends on authorization from their legal guardian, as required by applicable law.

You may not use Kognilo to:

• Violate laws, third-party rights, or these terms.
• Submit malicious or illegal content, or content you do not have the right to use.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, systems, or areas without authorization.
• Interfere with operation, bypass limits, or automate abuse of the service.
• Copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or exploit the service in a way not permitted by law.

You retain rights to the goals, notes, excerpts, open answers, questions, and other materials you submit. By providing them, you grant Kognilo a limited, non-exclusive license for as long as necessary to host, process, technically adapt, and display that content to operate and improve the service for you.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submitted content and are responsible for not including secrets, third-party data, or materials whose use is unauthorized.

Content generated by artificial intelligence may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Kognilo provides sources when available, but you should evaluate the content and consult primary sources before making important decisions.

The service is educational and does not replace professional, legal, medical, financial, or security advice. Mastery states and recommendations represent evidence within the platform, not professional certifications.

The final assessment is open-book, unsupervised, and untimed. It may contain errors and is not a proctored exam, a guarantee of competence, or a professional certification; we do not promise that outside help was absent.

• Prices, credit quantities, taxes, and applicable conditions are shown before payment confirmation.
• Purchased or granted credits do not expire while the service and account remain available, unless the law requires otherwise.
• Unlocking a learning path is permanent for that account and occurs only after your confirmation and the debit of the stated credits.
• Subscriptions are charged recurringly by Stripe until cancellation. Cancellation prevents future recurring grants but does not remove credits already received.
• An active subscription is required to generate, start, submit, retry, or contest a final assessment and to generate new review questions. These features do not consume credits.
• Without an active subscription, you may complete up to 10 conversation answers per real unit, without resetting that allowance by subscribing or cancelling. With an active subscription, unit conversation is commercially unlimited per unit but remains subject to technical, cost, security, and fair-use limits.

The software, Kognilo brand, design, components, documentation, and service-owned materials are protected by intellectual property laws. While your account is valid, you receive a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the service under these terms.

Sources, videos, libraries, and third-party materials remain subject to the licenses and rights of their respective owners.

We may correct, update, limit, or discontinue features for security, compliance, maintenance, or product evolution. We will seek to avoid undue loss of access already purchased and communicate material changes when reasonable. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or events outside our control.

We may restrict or suspend an account that violates these terms, threatens service security, or creates risk to others, subject to rights provided by law. You may stop using Kognilo or delete your account in Settings. Cancelling a subscription does not remove reports already obtained; data deletion follows the Privacy Policy and does not eliminate obligations that must be retained by law.

Kognilo seeks to provide a safe and useful service, but does not guarantee that all content will be error-free or that the service will operate without interruption. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for decisions made exclusively based on generated content, loss caused by misuse of an account, or third-party services outside our control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights and guarantees that cannot be waived under Brazilian law, including consumer protection rules.

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or law. The current version and update date will be available on this page. If a material change requires renewed consent, we will provide appropriate notice.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes will be handled in the competent venue under applicable law, preserving the consumer’s venue when applicable.
